What data this site collects, why it is collected and who sees it.

Last updated: 7 September 2026

This is an informational translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish text prevails.

This text explains what information the site at emirhansevim.com collects, why it is collected and who sees it. It was not copied from another site’s policy: what follows was derived by measuring the site’s code and its running state.

Who runs the site

The site is operated by Emirhan Sevim. Address: not specified, not specified. Contact: emirhan@emirhansevim.com.

Short answer

This site uses no tracking cookies, writes no tracking record to your browser and is connected to no analytics or advertising service. The only thing asked of you, if you want to join the newsletter, is your email address.

This is not a promise but a measurement: ten pages were visited, each scrolled to the end, and all 167 requests the browser made went to this site’s own address. Third parties: zero.

What you give directly

There is one field on the site where you can enter data: the newsletter / free resource form. There you enter only your email address. Name, surname, phone number, date of birth, identity details and payment details are not requested.

Two technical values are stored alongside your email address: which page you filled the form on (for example the toolkit strip on the home page) and when the record was created. These exist to understand which source works.

The search boxes on the listing pages (articles, resources, courses, projects) are not an exception; they only look like data entry. What you type never leaves your browser, is not sent to the server and is not stored anywhere.

Technical data collected automatically

As on every website, the server hosting the site keeps technical records: IP address, request time, the address you opened and browser information. These are needed for the site to work, for security and for finding faults. The site’s own code writes no additional record.

Hosting provider: Vercel Inc.. Retention period for these records: not specified.

Cookies and browser storage

There are no tracking cookies on this site. Three items are stored in your browser and all three are first party: your language preference, the country code you arrived from, and your cookie preference. None of them contains anything that identifies you.

Details — which item, for how long, and why — are in the Cookie Policy.

Why it is processed

  • If you joined the newsletter: to deliver the free resource you asked for and to send the newsletter itself.
  • Server records: keeping the site up, security and fault diagnosis.

There is no purpose beyond these: no profiling, no ad targeting, no behavioural tracking, and your data is not sold.

Who sees it

We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes. The following process data on our behalf in order to run the service:

ProviderPurposeWhat it seesStatus
SupabaseStoring the newsletter record and site contentEmail address, form source, sign-up timeConnected
ResendEmailing the resource you requested and newsletter issuesEmail address, message contentConnected
Vercel Inc.Publishing the siteServer access recordsConnected

“Connected” means this: when you submit the newsletter form, your email address really does reach these providers and is stored there.

Beyond these, data may be transferred to authorised public institutions only where legally required and limited to the basis of the request.

Transfers abroad

Your data is processed outside Türkiye. The providers above are connected and their servers are abroad; your newsletter record and the messages sent to you are processed there. The basis for this transfer under Article 9 of the Turkish Data Protection Law: not specified.

Fonts do not create a transfer either: the site does not fetch the Inter and Caveat typefaces from Google at runtime, it bundles them at build time. So your browser never connects to Google for this site.

If the basis reads “not specified”, that does not mean there is no basis — it means it has not been written yet, and that nothing will be invented until it is. A sentence of the kind “by using the site you are deemed to consent to transfer abroad” is deliberately absent from this text: implied consent is not valid consent.

How long it is kept

  • Newsletter record: not specified
  • After you leave: not specified
  • Server records: not specified

You can have your newsletter record deleted at any time; writing to the application address below is enough.

Security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS. The newsletter record is written with a key accessible only to the server; that key is never sent to the browser. There are no user accounts, passwords or sessions on the site — so there are no login details to steal.

Even so, it should be said that no system can offer absolute security; this text is not a guarantee but a description of the measures taken.

Your rights

The full list of your rights under article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law and how to exercise them is in the Data Protection Notice. In short: you can find out whether your data is processed, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted.

Updates

When a new service or provider goes live on the site, this text is updated and the date above changes. The change is not made here alone: the technical audit the text rests on is repeated as well.
